Healthy homecheck.ie was set up by an experienced team of industry professionals to offer independent advice  covering indoor air quality, ventilation, and energy performance within a home. 

 Why did we set up Healthy homecheck.ie ?  

 We are all encouraged by society to improve the energy performance in our homes and  contribute to reducing carbon emissions . Many people struggle to understand what they could or should do to help with this and also are unaware of the connections between energy upgrades and indoor environmental issues that can affect  occupants health .  

If we live to 80 years of age, 55 years are spent at home and 25 years asleep , so understanding if there are environmental factors  within the home that can affect occupants health are important.  

90,000 hours of our lives are spent at work, with a significant % of those hours currently  spent working at home . Adverse  health outcomes  caused by poor ventilation and indoor air quality within a home are @ similar levels to smoking . In fact in Ireland there are 300 deaths annually from lung cancer  caused by radon gas within homes.  

Healthy homecheck.ie provide a suite of advisory services  that can risk assess the home working environment  , ensure employers are meeting duty of care standards , improve the health and well being of staff  who are working from home  and can also contribute to  ESG obligations .
