Sharon is a Global HR professional with over 20+ years’ international experience in strategic human resources management. She is an expert in Leading Organisational Change, Building talent strategies, emerging markets and helping Organisations grow.

Currently, Sharon is the Group Chief HR Officer for Smurfit Kappa, a FTSE 100 company, where she sits on the Group Executive Team and is responsible for the People & Culture agenda for over 46,000 employees across the globe. Prior to joining Smurfit Kappa Group, she worked at Kerry Group plc. in various roles over a 20 year career there, most recently as the Global Vice President HR. Her previous roles included HR Director, Global Director of Change and Communications, EMEA Vice President HR and Asia Pacific Vice President HR. She is a key member of the Strategic Council for the Irish Management Institute and a member of the Institute of Directors, Ireland. She was appointed to the CIPD Board in April 2019 and is a member of the Nominations Committee and our Champion for Ireland.
